Model cars appeal to the old and young alike.  Adults seem to enjoy  classic vintage replica model cars as well as some of the newer makes and models that might on their actual car wish list.  While children and toddlers seem to be able to find something they like about virtually all types of model cars, whether the wheels roll or not, if powered by hand, remote control or even battery or gas powered, the kids usually love all types of model cars regardless.

A new phenomenon in model cars is the mini golf cart/ go-cart hybrid AKA ride-ons.  As seen in many blogs, these model cars are too small to be golf carts but too tall to be go-carts, often sold along with model planes, boats, rockets and trains at your local hobby toy store covered with a shell of a popular late model luxury or sports car usually priced around a few hundred dollars or more.
